Subject Description
This subject builds on foundation Theatre subjects by providing a workshop environment in which the knowledge acquired in theory and skills subjects can be put into practice. Students will facilitate and monitor rehearsals, and undertake responsibility for the technical and practical realisation of a theatre or performance project. Projects will introduce a variety of performance and theatre practices, and allow students to apply the creative, organisational and technical skills required in technical theatre roles.

Subject Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to:
1. demonstrate competencies in the skills necessary to work in technical theatre
2. the ability to develop an effective working methodology
3. apply learned skills into practice-based studio work and performances
4. ability to work as an effective member of a creative and technical team
5. demonstrate responsibility for project outcomes
